Exothermic Reaction

A chemical reaction in which more energy is released than is required to break bonds in the initial reaction. Energy appears as a product in the chemical equation.

Why Exothermic?

Because exothermic is the realese of energy / heat which is the reaction of fire, this is the source of the fire the heat which causes it, while endothermic is cold and doesnt produce heat like exothermic.

Exothermic Fire Reactions

All fire is exothermic but they varie depending on their fuel.

No Endothermic?

No fire is not a endothermic reaction its just not how it works, however as you know endothermic reaction are used to abosrb energy. This means that endothermic reactions can be used to combat the exothermic reaction of fire. Such things like fire blankets and other fire extinquishing things are endothermic reaction and or material (See more at fire proof).
